Closing conference of WFJ
On September 10, 2023, Women for Justice held its closed conference for the Women’s Voices First project in Karbala Governorate, in the presence of the Governor of Karbala, Engineer Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, and donor at the British Embassy, and partner Cordaid Org, an elite group of local and international NGOs, and a group of partner organizations with Cordaid, in addition to Stakeholders and decision-makers in the local government in Karbala Governorate, we have been presented the activities and events that the organization implemented throughout the project period, which extended for 10 continuous months. Its outcome was the establishment of sustainable community units specialized in community development in seven districts and districts of Karbala Governorate, noting that the organization will work after the end of the project on Support and develop these units in order to continue the sustainability of the project. We were also honored by the visit of a delegation from the donor FCDO and Cordaid, our organization’s partner, to the organization’s headquarters and they looked at the most prominent activities and services that the organization provides to the society in Karbala Governorate.
